Additional Information for those Alumni who wanted to share (names in order as they appear in the table):

Karen Erickson, LEED: (Class of 1997) Graduated from University of Maryland with a BS in Architecture in 2001.  Karen Erickson just graduated from Northeastern University with her Master's in Architecture. Congratulations! (2007)

Rebecca Hayak: Played Division III Field Hockey and Club Lax at York College of PA. Graduated York in 2004.  Becca currently lives and works in NYC. She is attending Graduate School at SUNY Purchase for Opera Studies. She has a serious boyfriend, Jason. The best way to get in touch with her is through her mother in SW or through email.

Jackie Taylor: Attended UCONN and graduated with a BS in 1995. Married to Brandon Plunkett (also a SWHS `91 graduate) since 1998. They have a son, Evan, who is 2 years old. She works for Duke University Health System.

Kara Sluboski: A junior at Uconn

Jess Lane: Going to Providence College on a Scholarship to play Field Hockey. Will major in Marketing-Sports. While at SWHS, she was a First Team All-American Lacrosse player, All-State First Team for Lacrosse and Field Hockey, and All Conference for Lacrosse and Field Hockey.

Cara Teller: Played Club Lacrosse at Virginia Tech her freshman year and participated in many tournaments, like the Mardis Gras 2004 Tournament. At VA Tech, she was an Animal Science Major. However, due to her love of soccer, she transferred to Rollins College in Florida for her second year. There, she played on the Varsity Soccer Team. She helped her team to reach the finals of the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, after they beat Barry (a team with a 50+ winning streak) in penalty kicks the previous day. For her last 2 years at Rollins, after leaving the soccer team, she focused on her Sociology Major and Communications Minor. She worked 20+ hours in the school’s International Programs Office. She misses lacrosse and is hoping to assist with the Winter Park High School Lacrosse squad next Spring.

Caitlin McCarthy: Currently attending the University of Florida where she is studying Criminology. She is playing lacrosse at the Club Level and her team has made it to the national tournament for the last 2 years.

Sarah Poythress: Graduated from Uconn in May 2005. She is working at Tufts New England Medical Center as a Cardiology Nurse. She is currently living in Boston.

Beth Sherman: Got engaged in February and will be getting married in CT in July 2006. Her fiance’s name is Scott and he is from Mass. He is a teacher and Basketball/Baseball Coach. Beth graduated from Bowdoin College in 2002 where she played Field Hockey and Lacrosse. She graduated from Tufts and Museum School with a Masters in Teaching Fine Arts (2004). She is now working as a High School Art Teacher at Landmark School, a school for students with language based learning disabilities. She’ll be coaching lacrosse in the spring!

Jennifer DeNino: Played Lacrosse at SWHS from 1994-1996. She is engaged to be married in May 2006 to Ben Kolenda. She is currently living in Smyrna, GA, where she is a Critical Care Nurse at Emory University Hospital.

Keri Redfern: She has sinced moved from SW since graduation in 2002. This fall, she is beginning Graduate School at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. She is studying to get her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. She should graduate in 2008.

Kristen McKee: She graduated from Providence College with a BA in Psychology in 2001. This fall she is entering a Masters of Education program at Boston University, focusing on Human Resource Education. She should graduate in May of 2007. She also completed a 3 week language immersion program in Seville, Spain in the summer of 2003.  Professionally, she worked at Boston Medical Center for 2 years after college in the Organizational Development and Training Department. For the last 2 years, she has been employed as a Senior Recruiting Associate at Cambridge Associates. She is living in a condo in South Boston with her boyfriend but did live in Southie with Kate Greaves and Laura Lee for  a few years before that.

Tracey Felcher: She graduated from Springfield College in 1997 with a BS in Sports Management. She also received her BA in Women’s Studies from the University of Hartford in 2004. She is currently working as an Engineering Assistant for Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford and has been for the past 7 years. She has 3 dogs, 2 cats and 0 kids!

Keri Willis: Graduated from UNH with a BS in Mathematics in 2005. She is living in Dover, NH working for Liberty Mutual.

Ari Kristan: Graduated from Tufts Magna Cum Laude in 2003. For 4 years, she was starting goalkeeper at Tufts, Captain senior year, All-NESCAC in 2001. She is currently working at Tufts Hillel and is a Goalkeeper Coach for Tufts Women’s Lacrosse. She is starting Boston University Law School in Fall 2006.

 Liz Kozak: Went to Quinnipiac University on a Division I scholarship for both Field Hockey and Lacrosse. She played Field Hockey for one season and Lacrosse for two and a half until she went to University of Melbourne in Australia.  She played both sports there for club teams until she broke her leg, ending that career! She then graduated QU in December 2002 with BA degrees in Psychology and English. She coached SWHS JV Lax for the 2003 season and volunteered for the 2004 season, as well. She is currently back in school for Nursing and will be finished with her RN in April 2006. 

Emily Gallugi: Will attend College of Mary Washington this fall.

Hannah Myers: She spent her freshman year of college at Wagner College, Staten Island, NY. She played on the Division I team there. She transferred to Quinnipiac University where she is now studying Public Relations and Marketing. She is no longer playing Lacrosse.

 Lauren (Steinnecker) Gallagher: Graduated from Uconn in 2001 with a BA in Communications.  Played Division I Lacrosse there her freshman year until she re-tore her ACL, ending her career! Married Jim Gallagher (a SWHS `96 Graduate) in May 2004 and moved to Grenada and St. Vincent, West Indies while he attended Medical School. Recently relocated to Brooklyn, NY and will be employed by Adecco as a Financial Recruiter.
